Venue and Accessibility

The conference will be held in St John's College Durham.

3 South Bailey, Durham, DH1 3RJ.

St John's is a 17 minute walk from Durham's train station and the number 40 Cathedral bus from the station stops around 4 minutes away. The nearest pharmacy is Boots at 2 -5 Marketplace, Durham, DH1 3NB (0.4 miles away). The nearest General Practitioner is University Health Centre 4 Green Lane, Old Elvet, Durham DH1 3JU.

Talks will take place in the Seminar Room in St John's Learning Resource Centre. The seminar room is on the ground floor which is step-free and fully accessible. There are accessible toilets immediately outside the seminar room, and a nearby on-level emergency exit.

When arriving for registration. Please head to St John's College reception. Conference and venue staff will direct you on to the relevant rooms. We will also ensure that there is adequate signposting. We can also provide on-site parking for guests with mobility issues. 

​

We have gathered allergy and dietary information from all in-person attendees and working with college catering staff to accommodate all needs.

​

This conference is a fully hybrid event. We will be using OWL technology to enable zoom attendees to watch each talk. The Zoom link with the most up to date schedule and instructions will be sent to online attendees in the week beginning 31/10/2022. The Zoom feed will be monitored during Q&As so our online guests can take part fully in discussions.
